Our legacy started in 1957 by our founder Devchand K. Panchal with the vision of making world-class fabrication services available across a wide range of activities.

We are a team of highly skilled engineers who are dedicated to creating excellence in every project we undertake. For over 6 decades, we have been the trusted partner for industries across the world, providing high-quality Dished ends, Pressure vessels, Storage tanks, Heat exchangers, Reactor and Columns.

We take pride in our state-of-the-art infrastructure, which include indigenously made Flanging Machines and Hydraulic Presses to manufacture dished ends, CNC Plasma Cutting, GTAW, GMAW/FCAW, SMAW, SAW, Non-destructive Testing Facilities, Heat treatment services, Tube Expanders, Pickling passivation and polishing, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Testing, Facilities

Our work is managed and supervised by a team of highly experienced professional engineers with the training and skillset to handle fabrication equipment. Our firm invests in skilled manpower to complement the expansion of machinery – a combination that promises effective production.

Registrations and Certifications

We are registered as a private limited firm with MSME for Manufacturing Chemical Plant Equipment and Machineries.

Our shop has been approved by various Third-Party Inspection agencies including PESO (Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization and IBR (Indian Boiler Regulation) and has been recognized with ISO 9001:2015 certification. Recently, we have been certified as an ASME ‘U’ Stamp Shop by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

History

Our Founder DK Panchal leveraged his expertise in welding engineering by founding ‘DEVCHAND WELDING ENGINEERING’. Our initial fabrication activity involved the repairing of Diesel Engines for the local farmers.

1957

Surat, Gujarat

DEPL had its first opportunity to work on a prestigious project. A statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel opposite the Surat Railway Station, a landmark of the Diamond City, was brought into 3 pieces. Our founder had the honour of welding the statue to its true state.

1960

Surat, Gujarat

Our Founder made history by designing and manufacturing India’s first indigenous Flanging Machine for making Dished Heads through Spinning Technology. These were designed to be up to 3-metres in diameter and of 12 mm thickness.

1985

Surat, Gujarat

To be able to offer our customers even greater capabilities and a wider range of services we acquired more land. With more space for new equipment, allowed us to take on larger and more complex projects. Additionally, were able to streamline our operations and optimize our workflow, which resulted in faster turnaround times and better quality products.

1992

Another milestone was reached in the design and manufacture of Dished Heads, now produced to be of even bigger dimensions - up to 6-metres in diameter and 30 mm thickness.
Again, Indigenously Designed, Manufactured & Started Production Dished Heads by Spinning Technology Upto 6-metre diameter and 30 mm thickness.

1996

Surat, Gujarat

Another landmark was created by the Devchand Group. Winning the tender for the hanging Planetarium at the Science Centre in Surat. This prestigious project was inaugurated by the then Gujarat Chief Minister & the present Prime Minister of India, Sri Narendra Modi.

2009

Surat, Gujarat

Our shop was granted Approval for Manufacturing Unfired Pressure Vessels from the Petroleum & Explosives Organisation, Nagpur, India. As per SMPV (U) Rules.

2011

Surat, Gujarat

Devchand Engineers Pvt. Ltd., was certified as an ISO 9001:2008 company.

2013

Surat, Gujarat

Our shop was granted Approval for Manufacturing of Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers & Dished Heads under Inspection of IBR-1950 Code.

2017

Surat, Gujarat

Devchand Engineers Pvt. Ltd., was Authorised by American Society of Mechanical Engineers to manufacture Pressure Vessels under ASME ‘U’ Stamp & By National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors to Repair & Modification under ‘R’ Stamp.
